The Mechanical subteam is responsible for the physical construction of the robot. This includes designing and building the drivetrain (the wheels, motors, and chassis), the manipulator (the parts which interact with game pieces), and everything in between. Students learn the processes of CADing and construction and consistently gain hands-on experience with design hardware, tools, and machines.
